Gerard Butler offers weekly jive classes and workshops on set dancing and Sean Nos dancing in many different parts of Ireland and abroad. Gerard has travelled all over the world passing on his dance talents and holds nine All Ireland titles for different styles of dance. His love of music and dance comes from his father Seamus and his mother Lila (RIP).
At a young age his father taught him Céilí and Set Dancing while his mother taught him Social Dancing. He then started teaching dancing at the age of 17 and is now a professional dance teacher. As well as teaching dance Gerard is involved with arranging dance weekends in different parts of Ireland and along with the Butler family does a lot of work for The Hospice Charity. And as if that was not enough he is also Road Manager for the very talented Nathan Carter and his band.

Gerard is one of Ireland’s leading Professional Dance Teachers and has been teaching Wedding Dance Lessons for over 29 years. He also specialises in Wedding Dance Tuition which is also available to full bridal parties.
